The Department of Cognitive and Psychological Sciences (CoPsy) is dedicated to the interdisciplinary study of mind, brain, and behavior. Its mission is to conduct impactful state-of-the-art research, to teach, and to provide service to society in these areas of scholarship.

Founded in 2014, the Institute at Brown for Environment and Society (IBES) is Brown's hub for environmental, climate, and sustainability research in the pursuit of environmental justice for all.

Brown’s RNA Center, in the Division of Biology and Medicine, launched in 2023. The center focuses on making basic RNA discoveries and translating their impact to patient outcomes.
